Music production out of Jamaica

Talented is common. Finished is rare.

One team, one schedule, one finished project. Produced, recorded, mixed, mastered and delivered fast, with your date in writing before any money moves.

Records, launches and live shows, built from one room on one schedule. No middlemen. No chasing. No drift. Tap any cover to listen.

Why people come to us

Handled with care, delivered on the date, inside the budget agreed.

Clients come to us because the work is treated like it matters and the process is run like a business. One point of contact, a schedule and a price agreed in writing before anything starts, and a team that communicates before you have to ask. The craft is the standard. The care is the difference.

What we handle

Your whole project, one roof.

One point of contact, one schedule, one person answerable for the result. Whatever the project needs, it gets done here, on time.

Phase 1 of 7

Day 0, Preparation

The date is agreed before the money moves.

Reference, key, tempo and direction locked. The schedule is signed by both sides, the deposit is settled, and from this moment every day below is a commitment, not an estimate.

Deposit dueSchedule signed by both sides
Days 1 to 4, Instrumental production

The track is built.

Live musicians tracked, arrangement locked, the bed of the record finished before a single vocal is sung. This is where most projects stall elsewhere. Here it has four days, and it takes four days.

Live musiciansArrangement locked
Days 5 and 6, Vocal recording

Produced in the room, not fixed afterwards.

Lead vocal sessions first, then background harmonies stacked and arranged. You are directed through every take, in the studio or on a live remote session from anywhere in the world.

Days 7 to 9, Mixing and editing

A mix that holds up beside anything on radio.

Vocals comped, tuned and tidied, then the full mix, built to compete. You leave with everything you need for live shows, sync and promotion.

Day 10, Mastering and delivery

If we miss the date, you hear it from us first. With a reason, and a new date, before you have to ask.

That is the whole promise, and it is why people send us the projects nobody else finished.

Jubilee, with Kevin Downswell.

A fiftieth anniversary concert with a national headliner, and we did not just mix it. We ran it. Custom crew and operations hubs built and deployed for the whole team, the running order managed minute by minute, the budget tracked end to end, the broadcast engineered, and the full live set captured in multitrack ahead of the album that follows. The crew systems drew public commendation from the show's own production partners.

Before you ask.

The questions artists, ministries and brands ask most, answered plainly.

I am not in Jamaica. Can we still work together?

Yes, and most of the process was built for exactly that. Vocal sessions run live over a remote link, you hear every take as it happens and you are directed in real time, from anywhere in the world. Files are delivered digitally, and the background vocal package in particular exists as a fully remote product. Distance changes nothing about the schedule or the standard.

How does payment work?

A deposit is agreed at booking, the schedule is signed by both sides before any money moves, and the balance is settled before final files are released. Every figure and date lives in writing from day zero, so there is never a conversation about what was agreed.

What if I want changes to the mix?

Two revision rounds are included with the master. Recording sessions are attended, in the studio or live remotely, so the performance and the direction are agreed with you while they happen. Mixing and mastering are then done heads down without you, which is how that work is done properly, and the mix comes to you for notes. Revisions refine the record, they do not rescue it.

Do I own my record?

Ownership, publishing and splits are agreed in writing before work begins, and we walk you through registering all of it after delivery. Jay-Vis Creates carries the mix and production credit on released work, the same way every professional record credits the people who built it.

What exactly do I receive at the end?

Final master in WAV and MP3, the instrumental, and a vocal down version for performances. Beyond the files, you leave with the paperwork walkthrough, copyright, splits and distribution, so the record does not just exist, it earns.

How fast can we start?

Message us and you will have a reply, a price and a proposed start date, in writing, within one working day. Once the schedule is signed, production runs ten days, first session to final master.

My song was started elsewhere and never finished. Can you take it on?

Often, yes. Send the session files or stems and we will tell you honestly what is usable and what needs to be recut before quoting. If the material is sound, the Stuck Song Rescue exists for exactly this and returns a finished master in ten days. If it is not, we will say so rather than take the work.

We are a company or agency. Do you invoice and work to procurement terms?

Yes. Jay-Vis Creates is the trading name of Jay-Vis Holdings Limited, a registered Jamaican company. We issue formal quotations and invoices, can complete standard vendor onboarding, and work to agreed payment terms where they are set out in advance. Corporate work is scoped and quoted rather than priced from the list above.

What corporate and brand work do you take on?

Voiceover and narration, jingles and audio branding, corporate video sound, event and conference audio, live broadcast engineering, and full show production including crew coordination, running orders and budget management. Work has been delivered for local and international brands across broadcast, aviation, manufacturing and education.

Can you handle a live event or conference end to end?

Yes, and this is a distinct service line rather than an add on. It covers production planning, budget tracking, crew systems, running order management, front of house and monitors, multitrack capture and a dedicated broadcast mix where required. Scope is confirmed after a site visit or a detailed brief, and quoted per event.

Can you meet a tight corporate deadline?

Sometimes, and we will tell you plainly before you commit. Turnaround depends on scope and on what is already booked in the calendar. If a deadline cannot be met to the standard we hold, we say so at the quotation stage rather than accept the work and manage expectations downward later.

Not ready yet? Stay close.

New records, open production slots and the occasional lesson from the studio. No noise, and you can leave any time.

Who you are working with

One producer. A bench that actually turns up.

Jay-Vis McIntosh

Producer, engineer and founder. Over a decade across various musical styles, corporate and brand work, live events and national broadcast. Every project runs through him, and he is the one who answers when you call.

The players

A curated roster of musicians, singers and engineers for studio and live work, assigned to each project by fit rather than by habit, matched to the sound and the strengths it calls for. No two projects sound the same. The one constant is the standard of the output.

Where we work

Based in Jamaica, delivering worldwide. Recording sessions run live over a remote link, so wherever you are, you are in the room while your vocals are being produced.

Jay-Vis. Jehovah Visited.

The name is not a brand exercise. It is a record of something that happened, kept in the company name so it does not get forgotten as the work grows.

What came out of it is simple enough to state plainly. Build structure where there is none. Do business so that everyone in the room survives it. Founded on testimony. Built for legacy.

Send us the project.

Tell us where it is now and what it needs. You will have a date and a price back, in writing, within one working day.
